Britney Spears' Fashion Moment with Dsquared2 and Candie's

Britney Spears is back.

After a five year absence on the touring circuit, Spears will return to the stage on Tuesday, March 3 in New Orleans, not far from her hometown of Kentwood, and she’s bringing the circus with her.

Spears tapped Dsquared2 designers, twins Dean and Dan Caten, to design costumes that span the range of circus performers, from trapeze artists to clowns – with Spears as the sexy, over-the-top ringmaster, of course.

The show, which Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday will be “full-blown, full-out Britney Spears show….a pop extravaganza” and will also feature aerialists, martial arts and Spears’ signature slew of backup dancers.

On Monday, Kohl’s announced the Spears will be the new spokesperson for their Candie’s Only at Kohl’s line and will appear in television, in-store and online marketing and advertising campaigns. Candie’s and Kohl’s are both sponsors of Spears’ Circus tour.

"Britney is authentic and relevant, personifying the Candie's brand,” said Julie Gardner, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Kohl's Department Stores in a statement.
