Inspiration for Spring 2010: “This collection is inspired by a Thai classic fiction novel, which translated from Thai is called ‘The Four Kingdoms.’ The collection embodies an ultra feminine look and a romantic tone.”
What's new this season: “I am currently working with a craftsman based in Thailand, working with beautiful floral hand crochet, authentic hand printed silk, and really gorgeous fine jewelry. I’m really excited to go back to my roots and show the high end quality of Thailand’s craftsmanship.”
How she’s gearing up for the show: “All I have is very positive energy. That’s how I function right now.”
On being green: “Recycled cashmere is something we have been using and working with from the start. All the cashmere pieces have been crafted in our studio.”
Guilty accessory pleasure: “Shoes! Many, many shoes that I don’t wear, especially the 4 1/2 inch Manolo high heels that I can seem to get rid off.”
Signature dish: “Chicken stew & steamed veggies over jasmine rice.”
