"Notes On A Scandal" Premieres in New York

Hollywood's finest turned up for the New York premiere of "Notes On A Scandal" on Monday evening, December 18.
Cate Blanchett lit up the red carpet in a tailored silver suit and matching stilettos. The fashion forward actress gave her sophisticated ensemble a chic twist by sporting a pompadour and a generous whisk of silver eye shadow.
Also making a bold statement on the red carpet was Carol Alt, wearing a crystal studded midriff-baring top paired with a low slung black skirt and oversized chandelier earrings. Meanwhile, Elisabeth Rohm chose to go classic in an emerald hued halter dress and delicate gold clutch.
The star-studded affair also included Lynn Collins, Emily Sandberg, Lauren Bacall and Bill Highy.
Based on a novel by Zoe Heller, "Notes On A Scandal" features Cate Blanchett and Judi Dench as two women whose friendship leads to dark secrets, obsession and betrayal. The film opens nationwide on Wednesday, December 27.
